Booking procedure step by step:

Step 1 | SELECT ARTIST | BOOKINGS REQUEST | | AVAILABILITY CHECK |
Once you make an enquiry by bookings request form on our website, the booking agent will contact you. He usually respond within one or two days. The bookings agent will contact the artist or his management to check if the requested dates are available.

Step 2 |INDICATION GUARANTEE FEE |BOOKING FORM |
If your preferred artist is available for your dates, you will receive an e-mail from us with an indication of the garantee fee (excl. production, special technical rider, gear, accomodation, airfares, travel expenses and luxury rider) and a bookings form. Once you complete the form BOOKING_FORM_2018 , we can confirm whether the booking is possible. In some instances we may need to speak to the artist first. We will then discuss the details of your booking with you.

Step 3 |SUBMIT AN OFFER |
Submit an offer, if  artist management agreed with your offer we will send you a mail to confirm all agreed arrangements. If management does not agree with your offer, we will ask you to do a final offer.

Step 4 | APPROVAL | BOOKING CONTRACT |
After your final approval, we will send you a Booking Contract or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) BOOKING_CONTRACT_29-10-2017 with all details. You must sign this contract and send it back to us.

Step 5 | DEPOSIT PAYMENT |
We need to receive the booking deposit within 1-2 working days of you signing the booking contract. For bands and DJs, the deposit is 50% of the total cost of the booking. One star DJ bookings (500-750 USD) Full payment  14 days before event (no deposit by signing contract). Payment after show only on request for regular customers.

All promotional material and press kit will be released when signed contract and deposit payment is received by Agent or Management.

Step 6 | PAYMENT SCHEDULE |
Full amount (100%) shall arrive with Booking Agent by, no later than 15-40 (depends on Artist management) days prior to the commencement of The Event in order to secure booking engagements.


Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

1. What is covered in the booking contract? – The Booking contract is a simple document that sets out the terms of the booking.It will include details of the performance or appearance, such as: the venue, the date, the time, how long the artist will perform, and how many sets there will be. It will also include details of the expenses that you will be covering and the fee for the final booking. Expenses will usually include travel expenses, but depending on the location of the event, they may also include accommodation and visa application fees, for example. The terms of payment will be clearly set out in the contract too. Details of the food and drink that you agree to provide will also be included in what is known as the hospitality rider. This might include full meals, or the artists’ preferred snacks and beverages. If you are booking music acts or DJs, there will usually be a technical rider in the contract too. This stipulates the technical equipment that you will need to provide. Finally, the contract will include the terms of cancellation. It sets out the costs involved if you cancel the event, or if the artist is unable to perform for any reason.

2. When will I need to pay a deposit for booking an artist?  – We need to receive the booking deposit within 3 working days of you signing the booking contract. In most cases, the deposit is 50% of the total cost of the booking. One star DJ bookings (500-750 USD) Full payment  14 days before event (no deposit by signing). Payment after show only on request for regular customers.

3. What happens if the artist is unable to perform?  – If the artist is unable to reach the venue or to perform due to an ‘Act of God’ you are still liable for the full fee. However, in these situations we always do our best to schedule an alternative date so that you avoid any losses. If an artist themselves cancels the booking, we will refund any monies paid to Music Faktory in full.

4. How do I make international payments to confirm bookings? – We accept bank transfers as well as payments via PayPal. We will send you payment details with the final booking contract.
